Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CNovel Kitchen handles information when you browse the site or use an optional account.

Information and services

If you create or use an account, Supabase provides authentication. Your email address, authentication credentials, and any profile name you choose are handled by that service. Do not put sensitive information in your profile.

Recipe favorites, theme preferences, and other saved interface state may be stored in your browser. The recipe designer and favorites do not send those local preferences to us unless a feature clearly asks you to sign in and sync them.

Site analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and a first-party page-view counter. The counter uses a daily keyed hash of the visitor IP address for hourly deduplication. Event records may include a page path, event type, recipe identifier and title, category, and locale. The raw IP address and User-Agent are not stored in these records; User-Agent is checked to filter automated traffic. Records expire after up to 400 days. Cloudflare may process technical request data to deliver the site and its analytics service.

Storage and sharing

The site uses browser storage for preferences and authentication state. We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with service providers only as needed to host the site, provide authentication, protect the service, and measure site use.

Your choices

You can clear browser storage in your browser settings, stop using an account, or contact us to ask about account-related information. Clearing browser storage may remove locally saved recipes or sign you out.

Children and changes

CNovel Kitchen is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them. We may update this policy as the site changes; the effective date above identifies the latest revision.
